Speaking of Insanity

Dear Senator McConnell:

Thank you for letting us know that you are familiar with the definition of insanity. Now, please explain why you continue to insist that anyone who doesn't want to repeat the mistakes that Republicans made over the last couple of decades must be insane. The opposite would be true.

Corporate profits and unemployment are at a fifty-year high. Your way is not working. Most Americans (that would be more than 50%) agree that it would be insane to continue your way. Your attempt to turn this around and say that President Obama has failed and wants to continue "his" failed policies demonstrates your levels of insanity and dishonesty. This short list of President Obama's accomplishments beats what you (or your party) has achieved in all the years you've been in office.

This is just another example of how you waste our time by standing on the floor with a load of drivel that no one who is the least bit informed or honest would believe. I guess that's why ratings and comments are disabled on the YouTube page? We deserve better.

Also, your remark about President Obama meeting with students was not very smart. I realize you have trouble with honesty but just in case there is an element of forgetfulness involved, I remind you that YOU visited a middle school as recently as January, 2011. If I remember correctly, you also took  tax-funded security along to push your views onto kids who probably couldn't have cared less,  wouldn't be old enough to vote in the next election, and had not student debt. What were you thinking?

Sanely yours,

    1. Thank you for reading and commenting. Humor helps me hold on to what's left of my sanity - and hearing from people like you so I know I'm not alone.
