McConnell, Leader of People Who Scream and Soil Themselves?

David Ferguson, writer for Raw Story, had me at: 

Conservatives greeted this assertion with their usual unflappable calm
and equanimity, which is to say, of course, that they pretty much all
started screaming and soiling themselves at once.  

There is no more perfect description for the Republican reaction to President Obama's brave, honest, and very necessary words during his address to the 2015 National Prayer Breakfast.

“Lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other
place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition committed
terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” said the president. “Slavery and
Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”
