Dear Senator McConnell:
I'm sure you probably know by now that I'm not much of a prayer, especially when it comes to praying for others. I think for the most part it is presumptuous to believe that any god would honor my request over that of the person I'm asked to pray for.
I'm ready to make an exception for you, and your Republican friends who believe that pregnancy as a result of rape is a gift from your crazy god. Soon as I get through typing this note to you, I'm going to hit my knees and pray that your god will bless you with a horribly painful rape of you own, followed by a complicated pregnancy so you'll also be able to brag about the miracle.
I would also like to remind you that abortion is legal, on demand. We do not have to be raped or dying, or seek permission or blessings from you or anyone else in order to elect to have this LEGAL PROCEDURE. I'm disgusted by the way your party keeps trying to confuse and dilute this truth (as well as many others).
