Top GOP Senator Mitch McConnell Defends Mourdock’s ‘Gift From God’ Statement

Dear Senator McConnell:

I'm sure you probably know by now that I'm not much of a prayer, especially when it comes to praying for others. I think for the most part it is presumptuous to believe that any god would honor my request over that of the person I'm asked to pray for.

I'm ready to make an exception for you, and your Republican friends who believe that pregnancy as a result of rape is a gift from your crazy god. Teabagger or carpetbagger? State Senate candidate Chris Thieneman a modern-day nomad

Dear Senators McConnell and Paul:

You've set such a lovely example for Republicans in Kentucky. Are you going to step up and denounce people like this guy, or leave everyone to believe there isn't an honest Republican in this state?
