It is impossible to separate the latest attack on Justice Brett Kavanaugh from the political strategy of the Democratic party. I guess we can assume that McConnell’s use of ‘A G E N D A’ wasn’t working well enough so they’ve upgraded to ‘political strategy’ but what will happen when people talk about the BRILLIANT [SIC] political strategy of McConnell? Are they taking a risk here, or assuming that their base will remain totally inconsistent?  On September 16, two days after the New York Times’ “Sunday Review” section told of another allegation of sexual misconduct during Kavanaugh’s college years, but this wasn’t anything new. Those of us paying attention knew about this during his hearing, when Republicans ‘rammed through’ (to use McConnell words) the vote on Kavanaugh’s confirmation without allowing a thorough investigation or witnesses to testify  Axios AM, an online newsletter, described Democratic CREDIT WHERE DO – THIS AUTHOR USES DEMOCRATIC INSTEAD OF DEMOCRAT  plans “to portray President Trump, Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell as the three villains defining the three branches of government for the 2020 campaign.” The reasoning: “Each of these white men, they will argue, symbolizes Republican corruption and rule-bending.”  Democrats aren’t portraying this, Trump, Kavanaugh, and McConnell have demonstrated this– PROVEN it beyond reasonable doubt – made it so blatantly obvious that anyone who isn’t in a coma surely had to see it.

Because opinions of Trump do not change, the Democrats have decided to rally their base against the two other “white men.” I am quite certain that Democrats didn’t need to rally the base, whether or not opinions of Trump change, because we are intelligent and concerned, whether or not whichever Democrats this author is crediting point it out to us. That is why all the major Democratic presidential candidates except for Joe Biden and Amy Klobuchar called for Kavanaugh’s impeachment after the publication of the Times essay. Says who? It is why the media gave the accusation, heard by reporters secondhand, saturation coverage. Ummm, no, define saturation. How does the number of articles and minutes of network news coverage of this issue compare to all of the other issues in these few days? And it is why Ayanna Pressley, a member of the “Squad,” introduced a resolution to start an impeachment investigation. Oh, not a bit hilarious that this guy invokes the buzz-word Squad, to piss off both Republicans and sane Democrats who know that no matter how hard Republican media tries to convince people they are the voice of the party, it’s so far from truth that anyone with any sense would stop reading right here.

Democrats are not dissuaded by the fact that Kavanaugh and the Court unite the conservative movement and Republican party like no other figure and issue. WTAF does this even mean? Like no other figure and issue? I’m willing to bet the majority of Republican voters can’t spell Kavanaugh or pick him out of a lineup. What counts to them is the Democratic base, not the Republican one. Anger, outrage, and animosity whip up voters, boost enthusiasm, and drive people to the polls. Nor does it matter to the activist Left if the source of the allegation did not speak to the Times; if the alleged victim does not recall the incident; if the Times accompanied its story with a weird and gross tweet that it later deleted; if everyone involved in the publication of the essay turned on each other in an orgy of blame-shifting and buck-passing; if one of the authors resorted to sharing Vox articles on social media to rationalize her behavior. The goal is neither objectivity nor factuality. It is delegitimization. Oh, nice use of semicolons. If I still owned the semi colon group, I would give this guy a badge. Pathetic use of another misused buzzword –activist—one of the words that Trump and McConnell use to incite violence against people who get involved in trying to save this country from them. The rest of this paragraph is utter bushit. Even IF a victim doesn’t remember the crime committed against her, if witnesses saw it, it counts. Actually, even if no one saw it, it counts.

All the Kavanaugh coverage for the last year has been intended to undermine his confirmation and subsequent rulings and lay the predicate for structural reform of the U.S. judiciary if the Democrats win the presidency and Senate. No shit, Sherlock? That’s the purpose of vetting sexual abuses and liars so they don’t get on the court.

But, since it is my responsibility to keep a certain ratio of my own words to those of this irresponsible, dishonest, unethical, sorry excuse for a journalist, I will keep typing words to make sure he can’t sue me.

The disastrous nothing disastrous about it – and it obviously concerns Republican fake-news writers like this guy, or he wouldn’t have spent all of this time writing all of these stupid words about it. Unless, of course, he’s afraid that a Republican or two considered trying to think a little and he wanted to tell that person or two exactly what he/they are supposed to think . . .  rollout of this latest smear DICTIONARY needs to pay this guy a visit because he clearly doesn’t understand the meaning of the word ‘smear’ has had the ironic effect of highlighting the weakness of the original charges against him. Author Ryan Lovelace uncovered footage of Christine Blasey Ford’s attorney, Debra Katz, saying that the desire to put “an asterisk” next to Kavanaugh’s decisions “motivated” her client to come forward. Holy shit! You don’t say? An ASTERISK?! Has anyone filed charges, or attempted to have her disbarred for her use of the ASTERISK? Does that compare to the use of a weapon-of-mass-destruction by a homegrown, radicalized, Republican terrorist who wants to shoot up an elementary school, movie theater, grocery store, or church? If so, I vote to remove all guns and asterisks from our society.  Authors Mollie Hemingway and Carrie Severino report that Blasey Ford’s friend Leland Keyser did not believe her story and does not recall meeting Kavanaugh. Blasey Ford’s father, who along with Blasey Ford’s mother was noticeably absent from last year’s hearing, is reported to support Kavanaugh. There is not a single corroborating witness to Blasey Ford’s account, and the “seven witnesses” to Deborah Ramirez’s story are less than they seem. Know what else is less than it seems? The qualifications of this fake-news writer to publish in the real world.

The Kavanaugh controversy is not, as one reporter for the Washington Post described it, a “journalistic mishap.” Nor is this trash a journalistic mishap. It would have to climb a ladder qualify for a checkout lane rack. It is a case of Democratic activists and lawmakers using journalists precisely as intended: as instruments of a political agenda. SEE MY BANNER. This guy needs a priest if he is going to keep confessing at this rate. Democrats are much more aware than Republicans that the very survival of their party depends on the maintenance of the “living Constitution,” as opposed to the Constitution as written and subsequently amended. The courts have been the Democrats’ backstop. If Donald Trump transforms them, liberals would have to reckon with the voting public.  There are no words to describe how hideously ridiculous this is. If I had the stomach for it, I would read a few more articles published by this guy just to see if he uses these same canned lies in all of them. I’m betting he does. Things could get ugly. Is this a threat? A nudge to your thugs and militias?

If the judiciary were to overturn Roe, end affirmative action, roll back the administrative state, protect the Second Amendment, and limit congressional power to regulate interstate commerce, American politics would look vastly different, and the constituent groups of the Democratic party would be radically disempowered. Bullshit. But you know what would happen? Republican women would be furious when they couldn’t get abortions. Children and husbands would be sad when their mothers and wives/mates died in childbirth. Republicans who have a bunch of kids they don’t want and can’t afford would need even more food stamps and Medicaid than they’re already getting . . . Shit could get real real. Not much would change since law-breaking, killing Republicans would find some way to kill, with or without guns to kill each other and anyone else who gets in their way. And, sooner or later, when Republicans have no jobs, they’re going to realize they’ve been duped by jerks like this guy misleading the about EVERYTHING. That is why the Democrats have responded so fiercely to nominations of conservatives to the bench, beginning with Judge Robert Bork in 1987. They know the stakes. LIAR LIAR LIAR. You are a fool for not having enough pride to stop you from making a fool of yourself in writing this way.

They also understand that sentiment and social position matter much more to the new woke progressivism than fact, evidence, and due process. Seriously, it takes guts to make this big a fool of yourself. For the Left, Kavanaugh is a symbol of structural racism and the patriarchy, the cool kid in high school envied and loathed by outsiders. Democrats don’t think liars and sexual abusers are cool. We don’t envy monsters who have no self-control or self-esteem. He must be projecting.  Accusations against him are “credible” No, they are credible (stupid use of quotation marks) because they are true. simply because he is the target. Only by confessing his privilege and repenting for his beliefs would Kavanaugh gain absolution and relief. The high price he and his family have had to pay for replacing Justice Anthony Kennedy also acts as a deterrent. Some judges may now think twice before accepting a nomination to the Court. Thanks for reminding us that Kennedy also needs to be investigated. Kavanaugh’s family is paying the price OF HIS CRIMES and poor character.

The irrepressible conflict over his office testifies to the overwhelming power of the judiciary, and to the tenuous nature of the rights the Court has invented over the last 50-odd years. Kavanaugh matters because he is a living reminder that the threat to the Founders’ Constitution comes from a left willing to break rules, and lives, to achieve social transformation.

McConnell inciting violence again

We've had our differences over the years, to put it mildly. Obviously, we agree on NOTHING. I believe you are destroying my country and you believe you have every right to destroy my country and there doesn't seem to be a way to resolve those differences. 

Here's where we stand, though. You are a public servant. You both serve and represent me. So what you do is absolutely my business. It is my civic responsibility and moral obligation to do everything I possibly can to stop you and your party from destroying my state, my country, and my planet. I've dedicated the last twenty years of my life to doing just that. 

And here's where I stand. I am exhausted, fatigued, sad, and frightened, partly due to age and mostly due to the stress that you and your party are putting on all of us. It takes a great deal of emotional energy to stay informed, call your office, write letters, and share the truth about you on social media. You're forcing me to also forfeit what little physical energy I have. The ONLY WAY I can be somewhat certain that you hear my voice is to come to your house and SHOUT to you from the street. This is no way to treat constituents, Senator. Actually, no way for a decent human to treat anyone who is begging you to consider how negatively you are affecting her life. 

In a previous letter, I let you know that I (and many others) heard you purposely inciting violence against me (and many others), and warned you that it is not acceptable and that I was making a formal complaint. I feel like you have put a target on my back this time, expecting me to go away so you don't have to hear my voice. What a coward you are, and a monster. 

I stood on the sidewalk in front of your house with a small group (twenty or so) of people and chanted my messages to you. We could have been more concise with a bullhorn and full sentences/paragraphs of our grievances and requests, but that would definitely have been more 'noisy' and annoying to your neighbors. I considered what I was doing (can't speak for the others) to be a request for you to come out and have a real conversation. Or, at the very least, to set up an appointment to hear us when you have recovered. But you didn't do that. 

Let me tell you about the people I met in that crowd (only knew one when I arrived). There was one well-behaved, kind child, around eight-years-old would be my guess. I was impressed (after decades of organizing and activism) with the innovative 'noise' makers (a broken plastic broom, a kitchen pan, a street sign post, and a cow bell) that the young people used to make sounds that were more musical than noisy. Every person in that group made eye contact with me and was kind to me. They would have been the same to you, too, had you come out. 

This was absolutely a peaceful, kind group in front of your house, Senator. Media who were ACTUALLY THERE, and law enforcement who were there have agreed with my assessment. 

I want to believe that you are as intelligent and thorough as people try to convince me you are. Truth is, I dislike you so much that I find it hard to believe anything good about you, but I hear these claims about you, even from people who don't agree with you politically. So, if I am to believe that, I must believe that you heard the entire live stream with the few words people pretended to be shocked and horrified and worried to hear. All of the words. 

I don't imagine you have much of a sense of humor. In this case, that protects you a little from the rage I feel toward many others who have blown this out of proportion and lied about it. But, even if you didn't get or appreciate the humor--same as I don't appreciate the humor when, daily, your party and supporters make jokes about shooting me or deporting me or hoping I will die so I can't vote anymore--I believe you knew the intent wasn't to do you physical harm and the person who spoke those words is someone who devotes her life to doing good and helping others every day and was no threat to your safety or your life. If your people didn't know this about her, you need new people. 

And now I want to talk about voodoo dolls. According to Wikipedia, <>The term voodoo doll is commonly employed to describe an effigy into which pins are inserted. Although it comes in various different forms, such practices are found in the magical traditions of many cultures across the world. People use voodoo dolls for different reasons but mostly a voodoo doll can be used for good in your own life or the lives of others: for love, healing, protection, success . . . The doll is often a representation of the person who desires to appeal to the voodoo spirits.<>

The voodoo doll that I have associated with this most unfortunate misrepresentation of what occurred at your house the other night is one that I made and have carried around (you can see the use and stains) for years. It is a representation of you. The representation isn't kind because I dislike you and I'm snarky. But the pins on the doll (which do have meaning) are colored to bring healing to the unflattering characteristics I wrote on the doll. If I believed in the power of sticking pins in a voodoo doll, the pins I used want to cure your black heart, forked tongue, identity crisis, closed mind injury . . . Because when you are cured of what ails you (and, consequently all of us), the world is safer. 

I cannot speak for the person who made the comment that you have not only allowed to be misconstrued but have also used to put another target on all of our backs, but I can tell you that everything EVERYTHING that I have seen, read, heard, or believe about her tells me that she would agree with my belief that the only thing to wish for when sticking a pin in the black heart on the voodoo doll would be to wish you healing. If she comes across this post and disagrees, I will edit to correct this statement. 

I'm not convinced that your bloody hands can be healed but my daughter and sister-in-law convinced me last night that, if my fantasy of you walking out on your porch to announce that you realize how wrong you've been and are going to right this ship NOW, you could go a long way toward saving your legacy, the country, and humanity. 

You and your trump-puppet and your party blab a lot about FAKE NEWS. By the time I got home from your house the night of the live stream, irresponsible-fake-news Daily Wire had rushed out a few dishonest lines about the gathering and published them as an article. Within hours, the many checkout lane rags of the internet had copied and published those lies as their own. By morning, it had reached CNN - like the game where person after person whispers a line in an ear and it ends up nothing like it started. 

Instead of being a decent human, you capitalized on that and feigned fear of the peaceful group you didn't want to hear from or deal with. And your words put all of us in danger. Again. Is this truly how you want to be remembered? Defending the right of hateful people to carry assault rifles while pretending you are afraid of a grandmother with a doll who only wants to talk to you about: 

caging babies/separating them from parents
blocking bills on gun reform, election protection, saving planet
social justice
healthcare

So that folks understand the process: CBP has outposts on the border. Refugees seeking asylum travel hundreds of miles on foot, including with infants and small children, and turn themselves in at these outposts *on foot.* Here's what happens next. Don't look away. 3/
CBP then transfers these human beings to a facility called "the Dog Pound." (Here, my friend started crying.) The "Dog Pound" is comprised of cages, outside and on dirt, with no protection from the elements. Don't look away. 4/
There are dozens of teen moms there. There is no baby food. While there, my friend saw a CBP agent take a baby from her teenage mother, strip the baby of its clothes, hand the baby back to the mother, and send them outside to the "Dog Pound" to sleep in the dirt. 5/
The "Dog Pound" has no running water, no covers, no tarp, no care, no safety from the elements. It is freezing at night, and deathly hot during the day. Everyone is sick. My friend said she saw a baby on this trip that was so sick "I thought it would be dead by morning." 6/
Toddlers in the "Dog Pound" who had been eating solid food are given only infant formula. Moms are trying to start breast feeding again so their children don't starve. These moms are dehydrated, sick, & have walked miles through desert with no water. CBP gives them nothing. 7/
It gets worse. Don't look away. From the "Dog Pound," these human beings are moved to an area called "The Freezer." The Freezer is kept at 55 degrees. Some of the refugees who are moved there are still wet from their journey, and are put in The Freezer wet. 8/
CBP is keeping human beings in "The Freezer" for weeks at a time. WEEKS. Including critically ill people, disabled people, sick children, teenage mothers with babies. The floor of The Freezer is made of dirt or very rough concrete. There are no beds. Keep reading. 9/

America is already perpetrating mass human rights violations, and this administration is setting it up so they can do far worse, in secret, under military supervision. 19/Military forces are already been shifted to CBP. My friend saw *coast guard agents* (read that again) working for CBP at this facility. If we do nothing, there will be blood on our hands.

Real Reason McConnell Made Stupid Election Day Statement

Dear [sic] McConnell aka ofPutin aka ofKoch aka ofNRA aka ofChao: 

It was fun and revealing to see you announce on the Senator floor that you think making Election Day a holiday is a 'Democratic Party power grab'. But, I hope everyone will giggle for a second and then think about why you would do this. You and your depraved party do nothing without purpose and ulterior motive.

My purpose in writing is to have this link to share when I caution people not to fall into your trap. Although I don't oppose the idea of making Election Day a holiday, I do know that people have to work every second of every day - first responders, hospital staff, etc. And most of us want grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and gas stations open on Election Day. 

Making Election Day a holiday won't even make a dent in the real problems with our failed elections system. You know this as well as I do, and that's why I believe you chose to create a media and followers cycle with your ridiculously revealing and transparent statement. 

We need to focus on automatic registration with voter ID cards similar to our SS/Medicare cards. Tangible proof that we are eligible to vote. And on fixing the problem of purges, and disenfranchisement, and poll locations being moved without warning . . . We need to get electronics completely out of elections - paper ballots with moderated humans doing the counts and no results released anywhere until every vote has been counted no matter how long it takes.

We need 24/7 voting for at least a week, not only one holiday that will not help the person who wakes up with a debilitating illness that day.

Brown Shirts, Red Caps, McConnell and Trump Mobs and Thugs

Then, read  Where the Brown Shirts Came From  and realize that the red caps are far worse than *just* white hoods. Although Alyssa Milano was absolutely correct in her article Red MAGA Hats Are the New White Hoods – Let’s Take a Stand I believe we must connect many more dots. 

Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, and the Republican Party that helped them every step of the way had the blueprint from history, and obviously planned this out from the red cap (brown shirt) on. Those caps were not like campaign shirts. They were something that could and would be worn every day, everywhere, forever, making their (YOUR MOBS AND THUGS, McConnell and Trump)

easily identifiable. Like the Covington Catholic School kids, who were immediately given 'fame and fortune' (the right-wing's inappropriate definition of the American Dream) with a White House invitation from Twitler himself.

And connect this to the huge movement for private schools - NEW bill in KY already, with Republicans on television saying don't pay attention to the people who are trying to inappropriately use the Covington thugs to warn against this -  

Additionally, Republican legislators will again attempt to pass a bill that ***allows tax credits for donations to nonprofits that hand out private school scholarships***. This bill went nowhere in last year’s session, and now has the added difficulty of needing more votes to pass in the short session.

And think about the church school kids whose minds are controlled from early ages and overwhelmingly raised by parents who support the party of fascist misogynists, racists, theocracy-seeking killers who call themselves Christians and claim they are right-to-life and right-to-work supporters while they kill jobs and people literally and through policy.

And then know that today, Trump, aka ofMcConnell aka ofKoch and ofChao and ofNRA is using "radicalized Democrats" as his excuse for canceling the State of the Union that would really only have been him lying, gaslighting, inciting violence against Democrats and minorities, and campaigning and he'll find other ways to do that anyway, like tweeting and speaking to FOX about radicalized Democrats and everyone who wears brown shirts or red caps knows radicalized people are dangerous and need to be stopped . . .

And Ford, who has pretty much cut wages in half if you consider the actual cuts they made and the raises that slowed over the last decade or two, pissed off employees when, after they helped put Republicans in power, those Republicans sent jobs to Mexico. This very likely woke a few so what are they doing now? Right as they're getting their shorted tax refunds due to Republicans revamping the tax code to send their money to the top brackets, they're announcing a bigger profit sharing bonus this year to make up for that, hoping they'll forget that they should have gotten their bigger tax refunds as well as this bonus, and kept jobs. Because they know people are gullible.

They like to mock conspiracy theorists because that makes ALMOST EVERYONE afraid to connect dots. I'm not like almost everyone so I will connect every dot I see. And all dots lead to McConnell being a despicable man who hates this country.
