McConnell Statement on Iran Deal

You are a craven twit. The JCPOA was not designed to limit to do the things you fault it for. The JCPOA limits Iran from pursuing nuclear weapons. Complaining that a sports car does not get mileage like a Prius is a an assault upon common sense.

The actions of you and POTUS have undermined the very basis for achieving a deal with North Korea. Why would North Korea denuclearize when the word of the U.S. is worth nothing.

The United States has stomped on the desires and wishes of our allies who negotiated the agreement with us and is setting back U.S. relations with France, Britain and Germany. Why should they cooperate with us in future diplomatic efforts, when their wishes count for nothing?

 If you have problems with Iran, then you expand upon what you already have, you don't shred the first step of cooperation, because the first step was not sufficient for you. First steps are first steps.

The scuttling of this agreement smells of appeasement to the interests of Saudi Arabia, gulf kingdoms and Israel. SA daily commits war crimes against Yemen and you give not a notice. Saudi Arabia via Wahabism is of greater threat to peace of world than Iran ever was.

The scuttling of this agreement ruins an opportunity to develop relations with Iran over the long run. The Iranian people as a whole are much more positive to the United States than any other people in the Middle East except the Kurds. This regime will not last forever.

Withdrawing from the agreement by the U.S. technically frees Iran to expel the inspectors and to proceed with the development of nuclear weapons AT THIS VERY TIME. You increase uncertainy in the word at a loss of security. Brilliant!  (highlighted by Sandy)

The primary reason for this action and your support of it, is YOU and POTUS animus toward a single individual-Barack Obama. That is the beginning and the end of it for Trump and for YOU,
